If you need to contact us now that we've closed to clients, please email us at
We will be in wind-up mode for a couple of months and are happy to answer any queries by email. If the matter is urgent, it would be a good idea to also leave a message on the Our Place mobile 0401 796 267. Thanks.
We will be in the wind-up process for several months yet, and if you need to contact us see details on this page. Our Place email addresses for Mollie, Suzanne & Sue will be retained.
We would like to acknowledge the wonderful contribution made by our volunteer team, past and present, and to thank them for their kind and compassionate service to our clients. We are proud that we successfully operated our volunteer-based organisation for over four years and that we were able to assist many more disadvantaged people than we ever anticipated during that period.
We also take this opportunity to thank the many friends and supporters and local agencies and services that have helped us to make Our Place the inclusive, tolerant and supportive community it is. Particular thanks to
. Clayton Utz
. Network Ten - particularly Grant Blackley & Brad McEwan
. Bullseye.com - especially Jason Davey
. Blake Dawson Lawyers - thanks Anne & Amelia
. Hanrahans Accounting - special thanks to Michael and Kaddy
. The wonderfully energetic Lew Palaitis and Hardware Gallery
. Gwilym Henry-Edwards for his tolerance and support
. And all the locals we've worked with over the years, particularly
Missionbeat & the Rawson Centre, Newtown Neighbourhood Centre, Newtown Mission, Marrickville Council, Marrickville Legal Centre and the Inner West Tenancy Service.
Thanks to all who've helped us, in ways big and small - we are so grateful to you. As we've always said, "every little bit helps".
We'll miss you and all of our clients very much. As Mollie said on our final day, we hope that the friendships and respect that everyone enjoyed so much at Our Place endures, and that our community of clients continue to look after each other and be kind to one another. We wish you well.
We also acknowledge the contribution of Founding Partner, Caryl Kinny and wish to say thanks from all of us.
